Easy Solid Tub Washer WOW you can see the lengths they went to to try to keep small clothing items out of the outer tub and water pump. I think that they knew how fast it would burn out the crummy Westinghouse motors these washers used if a sock got jammed in the directly driven water pump.
Can you imagine the stinky mess that big plastic screen in the outer tub would get in a washer today with all the non-phosphate detergents washing in cold water, LOL.
Cool Washer though. | ||
