The range looks a lot like my parent's Hotpoint from 1985, but theirs is off white with a black glass door and black console.

Typical of many seasonal condo appliances with little use. Is that really the hot water supply running in front of the dishwasher?

I saw a very similar dishwasher and range in a camp where I got an air conditioner last summer.

I had it in a college apartment I lived in. Loud as hell, louder than the WU600 Maytag my parents had at least it cleaned well. That Hotpoint was the king of soil re deposition for sure , especially the top rack.

I had two of those Hotpoint "Whisper Clean" dishwashers also. Sucked on cleaning, was not whisper quiet and both died thankfully.

That's a wonderful Whirlpool dishwasher.  A very good performing machine.
