That's a nice one.  Notice there are pushbuttons (water temps) plus two dials (water level and speed) and the timer.  The description says "5-speed" [combinations].

Do you suppose there are four speed combinations on the dial and the seller was simply counting buttons? Unless this has a three-speed motor...

It may be an LVA series (1970).

There was an LVA8700 (Imperial 80?) with that console layout, which was 2-speed, agitator-mounted softener dispenser and dilution bleach dispenser.

LVA9900 (Imperial 90?) with the same layout, timed bleach & softener, probably 2-speed but could be 3-speed.

LVA9920 (Imperial Mark XII) with two banks of buttons and quiet-pack belt, surely 3-speed.

Here's an LSA8900 (1968) for comparison.
