I saw an article about this in yesterdays Toronto Star.. I think it was a T.O. university student or someone who invented in .. Kind of neat.. There's a video of it in action if you scroll down the web page.

I didn't see in the video, how you get the water out of the machine? Do you have to lift it onto a counter and aim it at a sink?

I think it has a drain plug but yes you'd have to drain it into a sink or such. It reminds me of those old Kenmore electric ones.

So you would have to lift it up onto the counter in order to drain it...not sure everyone would be able to do that. It might be OK if you go camping and can just drain it on the ground. Or maybe you put it in the bathtub, stand in the tub to pump the pedal to spin the basket and then just let it drain.

Looks like it will take a whole lot of rinsing to get all that detergent out of there.
