Finally after getting the timer and selector back in...a test run of it!
I still am not able to find out where the other wire for the timer goes on and if I installed the rotating drum that indicates which of the 8 cycles you are on..(though heat comes out of the Auto-Dry)selection. So far it heats up and dries clothes, but without the timer I have to check the clothes manually. At least it lights up all nice |

Here are 2 wiring diagrams for the DBA-30 dryer. The pictorial shows wire connections and routing, the schematic is for tracing current flow. Hope this helps with your dryer problem.

Thanks..to Jeff and Steved for the diagrams..while the timer still does not advance its now hooked up right....is there a way to bench test a timer motor ?
