Hi Ian another great machine. I think i may know where there is an outer spin can. When i did the MK11 a few years ago the outer can was worse than the one on your machine. I gave it a good sort out with a drill and scraper then repainted it with grey Hamerite paint. I also did a similar process on the EE twin tub we had the resent get together. See how you get on and let me know if you still need a new part. Keep us upto date with the progress. Regards Darren

Thanks both, I should have a bit off spare time tomorrow so I'll dig the rust out from the bottom and see if I can see any holes. Ian |

Hi Ian, Unless there were minor changes made between the Mk70 and the Mk100 then the knobs should just pull off with a bit of wiggling - they did on my Mk100. Maybe someone stuck it on with super glue? Good luck with the restoration! Regards, James |
