My Sears Classic Range ( Looks like a Visualite or Flair).
It's a gas range. There is a rod that runs along side the gas valves for the burners. It locks the 2 back burners when the draw is pushed in, and only lets the 2 front burners work. The rod also contacts a micro switch whenever one of the burner controls is turned to the "lite" position. There is a tab on the cam of each control that pushes against the rod and releases it when turned to desired flame height once the burner ignites. Somewhere in the life of this range, someone removed the micro-switch and an actuator piece, and rendered the Electronic Ignition, on the burners, inoperative. I would need to light each burner with a match now. SEARS says the micro- switch and actuator are no longer available. Is there a way to get a Close up pic of the micro-switch and actuator. Sears Parts Direct only has drawings. I wanted to see what these parts actually look like to see if I can come up with a substitute that might work and rework the set up to get the Electronic Ignition working again. Does anyone know of a way to cross reference these to part numbers to others that may work? Or know of any private Parts Suppliers that may have bought out Old Sears parts stock and still have these parts? I know this happens with vintage car parts. The Micro-switch part # is 102788 & the Actuator is 113949. I'm also looking for the Switch for the upper and lower Flourescent task lights. One push Turns on the Top light, a 2nd Push turns on the Bottom Light, and the 3rd Push turns the bottom light off. The 2 Lights are never on at the same time, as the Ballast is not strong enough. The Light Switch # is 109745. Any help would be Greatly Appreciated. Thanks Everyone. Best Washes, Louis |

Have you tried other sources for these parts? Since you have the part numbers, it should be easy enough to get an answer. If you've not already done so, check RepairClinic.
