Photo 4 is the Moffat we had growing up.. the left side is a warming oven only.. at least it was on ours. There's a toggle switch for it to the left of the leftmost burner control.  The oven temp control slider lights up when you set the temperature and chimes and goes out when it reaches temperature

Names of Canadian vintage range collection

Well the yellow one is a Frigidaire, I will guess the other two small ones are likely Moffat-Moffat used the Synchrotron controls on some of their ranges. The large wide spread cooktop range is a McClary-the GSW shield (General Steel Wares) is visible on front above McClary name,I am surprised to see pushbutton controls, is this a Hotpoint design? I am not familiar with McClary ranges of this era. The other large one is a Moffat,I can just see the M O F F A T spread wide across top of control panel. McClary sold McClary-Easy wringer washers in Canada with the Easy spiral agitators.More modern history around 1980 GSW-McClary MOFFAT joined GE Canada in a 50/50 joint venture to form CAMCO (Canadian Appliance Manufacturing Company)to rationalize their products in Canada. They bought the old Westinghouse factory in Hamilton, Ont., maybe Petek can add some insight, and adopted the Westinghouse range carcasses and interior liner design.GE brought their Hotpoint name to the new venture so we had 4 names with similar basic designs with Moffat and GE being upper tier. Fast forward to present and GSW sells out to Mabe of Mexico and I think GE sells their interest as well and in 24inch we are left with a Mabe made range which seems quite flimsy and without much or any oven insulation to replace the previously rebranded Frigidaire manual or self clean ranges which were made in Quebec I presume until this past year when Frigidaire shut their Canadian plant and moved it to the US. Do they still make a 24 inch range? If not apartment owners do not have many replacement options. Sorry if this seems long but be glad you have not endured my ramblings after I've had a couple drinks and REALLY got into appliance talk!

Great display photos and great histories. Thank you from the latitudinally challenged.
