Are people afraid they'd blow a fuse if they plugged in a fridge? "It worked last time it was plugged in." That's the oldest red flag in the book.
Maybe they just don't want to be caught in a lie, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and presume they're afraid the belt would fall apart if they tried to run it.
My experience in seeing Frigidaires of this vintage on CL is that as a rule, they are not operational.
It's beautiful and I've always liked these, but it's big and I don't have the room or the expertise to diagnose or the proper equipment to possibly make repairs on something like this. |
