Art...

Very Good Analogy of the Gyrator Wash Action. It's so smooth, memorizing, and the cadence of the strokes are the Ultimate Soothing cure for a bad day.

Or any kind of day. Damn those Gyrators can tear up the water.

Love your square tub Maytag. I have axcess to a freebe in B'More. Used only twice then dryed out and covered with a plastic wrap to keep it in pristine shape. It's been there since 1970 when Mrs.Smith,a neighbor of ours asked me to come look at her old GE wringer washer. The motor had sealed and the machine was leaking underneath. So,not interested in a Frigidaire or front loading Westinghouse automatic, I sold her a Maytag. The top of the line with a hinged lid and the pressure pedal to turn the wringers on. She hated it and bought a Frigidaire Jet Action 1-18 Gold Crown model and fell in love with it. When I went there in 2011, their son, David, saw me and had mestop in. When we went to the basement and the Maytag was still there in plastic, he plugged it in and said " It's yours!"
It'spacked and ready to ship here. I just need to set it up.
