How old might it be?

AD:"Commercial size large dryer. It is old, but works well. Set up for natural gas and we only have propane, a conversion kit is hard to find because of the age. Asking $50 or best offer. You have to move it. "

Probably '70's. I do remember when these were new. Had the magnetic latch and huge glass door. A step up from the older ones. And it was harvest gold. I remember many of the older ones were either white or turquoise.

A 1970's  "Drying Tumbler".   I remember older turquoise machines with the much smaller glass window, they also had the "child killer"  mechanical  door  latch like older refrigerators.  Later the same door with the small window but a square handle and magnetic latch.  From what I remember this machine with the full glass window is from the time as posted above.  The SQ, TL, ST washers of the era came in turquoise, orange, and a 1970's apple green, not avocado.  IIRC these strange colors were available only in the coin op, line up.  Art

Bruce and Air - these commercial machines, in the colors and style here(huge round portal window) are nearly a whimsical interest to me. Thanks for the details and I'm again impressed with the knowledge here. Fun colors, those apple green, turquoise, orange…but the 70's decor were "farm-out", man. :^0

Made by Huebesch, It has a single coin Greenwald knob style meter. Customers could add a coin at a time to get up to 60 minutes of dry time.
