Not that members are interested, but these look so new, compared to the usual "FREE" crowd offered.

That's like seeing a pristine Yugo, and being torn about how, exactly, to feel.

Those Magic Chef DWs happened when MC stopped using D&M to source their dishwashers, so GE was the only other manufacturer with a production line capable of mass-rebadges. This is what you got. (Amana did the same thing around that time.) You'd probably prefer the D&M's wash performance, but at least the Perma-Tuf tub and tried-and-true turbine pump design meant that it would dramatically outlast its predecessor.

Careful wiping that brushed-aluminum face, lest all the lettering come off.

When I saw "mass-rebadges" I initially read "garbage." Sorry.

I will say this in favor of the D&M machines that I knew: they pumped out more water during drain than the GE machines of this vintage so that less water was carried over into the next fill.

If the renters were typical of most Capitol Hill renters, they did not use the kitchen much; they did not need to and they did not really know how to. Neither appliance, while being Magic Chef, is BOL. You could do worse for a dollar.

Is that a Magic Chef made gas range? I've never seen a gas range like that before.

These look more like 1985 or later, not 1975.

The stove controls look more Tappanish and are unusual for a rental property, if it is a rental property, in that the oven is clock controlled. It might just have been a resale remodel. John will be the rental property gas stove man with the answers.

That range appears to have a lever/lock on the oven door, which would make it a self-cleaning model.  Kinda high end for rental, no?  I can't make out the logo, either.  Actually has a somewhat "Estate" look about it.
