You have found a Westinghouse Slant Front Automatic Washer speed changer or you could also call it a 2 speed transmission, these were used on a WH FL washers from just after WW2-1955 and some commercial versions of WH washers for some time after 1955. This unit changed from tumble speed to spin speed when the solenoid was energized.

Thanks for the reply! Is there any value to something like this? A rarity or quite common. Im kind of new to the washing machine world of things.
