That is a wonderful print ad, Peter; thanks for sharing it. Who among us didn't find something to stand on so we could watch the washer in action? My booster was a small step stool kept in the laundry room so my 4' 10' mom could reach things on the storage shelves.

Hiya Pete.

I think as a child, I would have had a stroke if my Mom had a Kelvy with the Glass Lid.

Great Scan.. Thanks.

I only wish they were being made today.
I also wish they would have made a 1/18!

Re Kelvinator

These really do a great job, the tub looks small, but you can really pack in the clothes.

At least they showed how it splashed with the suds on the window in the lid so it must be a real action photo.

That's exactly how my mom got me started on washing machines at 3! She put me on a wooden soap box and started the GE FF , it was right beside the stove and she could keep an eye on me while she cooked dinner !

Happy New Years Peter !!

yea moms seem to let the washer do a little baby sitting from time to time. mom parked me on the washer while it was running (66 whirlpool) I remember the lid being warm on my tush and how it would sound while running. thanks mom
