Nate and I spent today going after the start switch-to cure the smoking problem-success. Here it is washing a load of rags-still have a few issues to address but we are convinced now this washer wants to be saved.

WOOHOO!!!!! Congratulations you guys on getting the WO-65-2 up and running; that is AWESOME! Isn't that jumping-water action fun?

While the WI-57 and WCI-58 earn points for beauty, I definitely think the earlier Unimatics made through '54 are the absolute BEST out there; they clean AMAZINGLY and the action is equally incredible. Not to mention the added fun of having the cabinet as the outer tub! "SNAP...WHOOOOOOOSH!!!"

Thanks for posting!

that is just beautiful. That explosion of suds right out of the middle.
This is a pretty machine, hope its other issues can be addressed. Do post pictures of eveything - I love to watch.
You can tell it was designed by engineers and not marketing monkeys.
Thanks for sharing - really woke me up!

Amazing work, guys! Glad to hear you have it running, now you're hooked and will have hours of fun with it.

Jeff (hoover1060) and Fred (fnelson) were here this weekend and Jeff was completely smitten with the 58 Unimatic - it is a machine like no other!
