In know Kelly liked that model, bought one based on his comments.  Used it a few times, liked it.

That's beautiful.  I've never used one of this vintage, but I remember Kelly praising these.  Good find, Hans.

It should

Give my 10s 11s and 12s a rest, I normally use a chrome 12, its not often you get to use a new mixer from 1974...I remember these well, I turned 9 in the fall of 74!....

It's great that new-in-box items are still out there waiting to be discovered. It's a gorgeous Sunbeam, that's for sure. Let us know what you think of the Color-Vision orange cake, as well, Hans.

Edit: I'm baking today and wanted to thank you for turning us on to Happy Home extracts! It's my go-to brand now. Gotta love the Internet for bringing products from virtually anywhere to one's front door. The banana cake I make is even better using their Butter & Nut flavoring.

Alas, the baking is done in a 2015 Frigidaire double oven which is still 39 years out from your "no appliances under 40" rule, LOL.

Beautiful! Wierdly I loved the way my Grandma's smelled when we used it when I was a kid. She at 93 still has most of her Sunbeams but this one went to my Aunt many years ago. My twin got an ancient KitchenAid 20 years ago from Grandma and it's used regularly to this day!
