This dryer is definitely worth fixing if all it needs is a new belt and some rollers. The kit looked correct for your dryer to me. The only thing I noticed is that it is not branded Maytag or Whirlpool(which bought out Maytag), so unsure as to the quality of the parts. I have had decent luck with parts like this in the past.

Call Bowen's Refrigeration. Ask them do they ship appliance parts to different cities. |

There is not a machine made today that will last. There is no comparison in construction and yes the old adage does apply here, they just don't make them like they used to. The new ones are disposable and most are not worth fixing when a problem occurs. Yes the rollers need to be replaced, they cannot be tightened. Some of the old appliances just have a nice style like the old vehicles.

My 73 Lady Kenmore dryer dries at least one or two loads a day, on the weekend 5 or more, I have replaced the heating element one time and other than that, it just keeps on going, quietly, and the automatic control works perfectly! |
