These Belong To ME! . . .( Come Sunday )

Am driving to Sun Valley Nevada to get them day after tomorrow. They are not the 806's I hope to still find, however, they are clean, and the price is more than fair.

According to the owner, he inherited them from his grandmother, who recently passed. Two years back, over 1700.00 in repairs were done on the pair. This, I am skeptical of, and will ask about receipts. The dryer, I am told, needs a part, and I hope I can find someone near me who likes old machines and can show it some love. If I cannot find someone near me, will attempt repairs myself, hopefully with some help from members here.

Thanks for the link, overphil!

Cheers,
Steve

Steve - I never.....get tired of seeing these Maytags and this pair looked especially nice. $1700 in repairs????!!! So glad you are getting these and sorry they're not the 806's. But they're out there. Drive carfully and good luck all the way with those. Someone will give you some help with all the onlookers and members here.

Phil

I will always want a top loader. Just today, I washed a pair of heavy cords in the Creda, but it would not balance for spin so I lifted them out and plopped them into the baby Maytag for the spin and a deep rinse. The OOB switch tripped in the spin drain, but I was able to redistribute them for a successful final spin. I never would have gotten this completed in any of the FLs.
