Yes, know they aren't exactly in your neck of the woods, but sometimes you have to think out of the box. Contact the seller and see if they will accept PayPal or other arrangements, then use Uship or other transport. Ask a local member if they will be willing to assist.....
Where there is a will there is a way. If one can have an ironer weighing >200lbs shifted from Iowa to NYC... Have said this before, my Hoover TT came shipped via UPS in a very large box/crate. Only damage was to one of the wheels that managed to break through the box. This units aren't very heavy and can easily be packed and shipped. dayton.craigslist.org/clt/5673042... maybe at the washer convention.... I would like to attend the washin on late aug. In fact the wife said she would come alone also( she is also a bit of a collector)I dont want to sound like an opportunist but I would like to be coming home with a hoover 512. thanks Bill | ||
