It could be, cause I tend to like to have a little more water in the load. But on empty with water only it is fine. |

Hi Kenny, in order for the out-of-balance-switch to cut a MT washer off the inner tub assembly has to move a certain distance to hit the cut off arm. If the snubber assembly has lost it lubrication or worse its pads it does not allow the suspended assembly to move freely and the entire machine will walk but will shut off on the OOBS.
If you don't know how the suspension works in an AW try putting an OOB load in a DC MT and put the shipping collar in the lid opening with an OOBL in the washer, the washer will NOT shut off and it will walk all over the basement, LOL.
