The HE Top Load LG branded Kenmore machines have been gone from the store for a while now. I noticed when in our local store and although some of the pics were still on the site for decoration, the machines were all gone.
I'll bet Sears took at least a brand reliability/reputation hit from the exploding top loaders when LG was having all those problems and a good percentage of the half-million recalled washers were Kenmore branded. That would be enough to drop the product. Well, that and imminent corporate bankruptcy.
I'm getting a bit warmer on the HE top load washers. I'm hearing good things about Samsungs, LGs and Whirlpools. Time will tell. |
