has anyone been able to reseal one of these pumps? I have 2 of them both leak at the shaft one from the 54 ge dishwasher and the other from the 57 kelvy

there has to be a trick, im gonna tinker on one to see what I can come up with but any info would be awesome

the seal does come out and it must loosen up over time and from being dry for years

new parts might be avalible

Gorman rupp-made that pump for decades,used in all kinds of equipment: ice makers,coolant flushers,ETC.-might be able to get a seal repair kit :)
