I'm glad you posted this in SS.  The seller recently revived an ancient P7 thread and posted it there, where it didn't have a snowball's chance of getting noticed.

You're welcome - both to the seller and you Ralph for noting(were you going to post it for him, eventually, in SS?). Anyways - beautiful stove!

. . . were you going to post it for him . . .

No, it never crossed my mind.  That first post here from the seller is likely to be the last as well.

Ralph, you have a way of making communication a game of interpretations, and I say that kindly.

Is the seller, 1) about to lose his life?, 2)becoming penniless, with nothing but his shorts to sell, if needed?, or 3)is about to be jailed?

I'll take credit for not being able to read into what you meant, but I hope I didn't do something wrong.

GE J487, 1971 double range single owner FS (CA SF Bay Area)

When you submit your first post, are you called a one-post wonder?
I may very well be submitting other posts on this forum site, since I occasionally work on old appliances.
We decided to bring gas into our kitchen, and that's why I decided to sell the GE double range.
I had to lower the price, a lot, until any interested party responded to my listings.
The range is now SOLD. Thanks; Larry
