Well, it looks like it can be used as an experiment to see how a freezer works--just don't forget to collect the funds for admission/tuition...

I see a lot of brand names listed, also... Perhaps although branded Montgomery Ward, everything component-wise is identified by the trade name the unit uses for each part?

Apparently, $2495 also buys the story line to a book, yet to be published, titled "My Life in Montana".  It is sure to sell millions of copies.

I was thinking along similar lines. Scrap around here is $55 a ton, that's probably $20.00 or so in itself....

The seller raised the price $500

I guess it wasn't selling at $1995 so he added $500 to the price.

The last paragraph of the "My Life IN Montana" novel, it says: I have no idea what a fair price for the gem might be so I have listed it here for $1,995 and will consider offers.

Goat- We're lucky, here in the Mid-west, to have scrap metal places within reasonable distances.   I fear this freezer is a long -LONG way from civilization.  The horse drawn wagon train don't always be a gettin' that di-rec-shun.

I recently snapped a photo of a pile of washer parts and scrap metal and posted in the Free section on CL.  A truck load full.   And within hours I had someone here dutifully cleaning up, and he wants me to call in the future when I have more stuff.   I didn't even see the guy.  The stuff in front of the garage just disappeared.

He said he would post all offers, and there are none. No one here want's it? That rare, unseen before piece of history?

"I just found this REALLY old, scody, freezer in the barn!!Bet we could get a FORTUNE for it!!"That compressor might be useful--redone as an AIR compressor! But not for 2500 bucks--maybe the seller breathed and huffed some of the refrigerant!!He got HIGH and priced the machine at the HIGH price!!!
