Is it a white or a pink unit?

Seller never says what color it actually is. The photos are simply for reference - he found them online. The unit has been stored for 15 years. Hmmm.....

It depends on which model it is...  My '56 model was unused for 52 years before I got around to plugging it in.  It worked fine but that resistor needed for the condenser fan went kapow after 2 years in service.   Anyone interested could certainly factor this into an offer...

In discussing what we are hoping to do, it might not be as soon as I thought and we aren't sure what we want for that kitchen in terms of refrigeration.

Paul -so are you saying your unit is kapoot because the resister went kapow? No replacement?

Phil,

Paul replaced the resistor and his fridge is fine.

Phil, it was a piece of cake to replace the resistor - you don't even need an original GE part.   BUT if you are seriously interested, you can use this information to negotiate the price downwards....  Just sayin'

AND I do have some spare GE wall fridge interior parts too....

Wall fridge parts

Turquoisedude,

hey, Im actually in the middle of restoring a 56 GE wall fridge. I'm missing the butter conditioner trim, I have the sliding doors to it.

I also need the sliding doors to the fruit and vegetable bins. Do you possibly have spares of these? I have cash:)
