Hi everybody!
I thought it would have been nice to create a thread to include our control boards diagrams.
I personally have made a board for universal motor control based around the TDA1085C IC, which is quite cheap on Ebay nowadays.
I invite everyone to include photos (both back and front) of their boards to preserve their history and repair them, whenever necessary, especially analogue motor boards, which can be quite useful at times, like the ones used in Hoover and Hotpoint machines.

Greetings from Italy.

the more refined PCB, more work required but I'm between homes and in rented accommodation so all my hobbies are on hold and in storage :-(

Nice board, seems to work quite well too.

Can I ask you to upload a photo of a Hotpoint 95 series module? If you do,I'll reverse engineer it and upload an image on here so that everyone can use the diagram to repair theirs. I think it'd be a nice thing to do ;-).

I will ASAP, I'm between homes at the moment and in a small rented cottage so all my projects and machines are in storage, including my workshop computer with all my images on, it is annoying me as I want to get back to working in it and I'm having serious vintage machine withdrawal......

Here it is!

My TDA1085C based universal motor controller board.
As long as the motor speed doesn't exceed 15000 RPM you can use it without any problems.
Let me know...I'll be waiting for Hotpoint and Hoover ones, possibly many images of both front and back as well as the components model (i.e. transistors could be 2N2222).

Hi!

Any news yet?

I don't remember ever having to change a module on a Hotpoint 95 series, they were extremely reliable. It is good that there is the expertise within the group to design and build such boards though.

I'll be waiting though,, if anyone wants to say something (or has some pictures) please let me know. I have an interesting project in mind with them.
