I have never seen a Preway dishwasher myself. Interesting that they had a gas fired heater on that model with the two side spray arms. The other model down further looks to be made by D & M. I know that Kenmore was made by D & M at that time and had a dishwasher mechanism like that one. I was always fascinated by that particular model because it still had the impeller on the bottom with the circular loading, but it had the rotating top rack that sprayed underneath. I think that must have been the only year that mechanism was made. I believe the next year they went to a spray arm under the bottom rack instead of the impeller. I have only seen one portable dishwasher with that mechanism. So that would be a rare find to have one like that.
These side wash arms seem incredibly awkward for bowls. You'd have to load them at least half-way turned to the side. And cleaning pots must be even more complicated.
But I guess the gas heating is really cool, and 40-45 minutes cycle time sure are incredible.
