These looks similar to the Bosch models that were "product placed" in a couple of seasons of Desperate Housewives. Bosch and Siemens are in the same group so it is possible that they branded some washers as Siemens

Siemens - Bosch Max 10kg set

Wow, nice Siemens matching washing machine & gas dryer, the Bosch version did indeed make their debut in product placement with Desperate Housewives, what I dont get is the plinth - WITH WHEELS unless they are the ones that you can put a brake on, and then knowing how big that tub is I would have to take the plinths off for better balancing results.

These are a great pair for the price, grab a bargain someone !!

Nexxt line of washers and dryers

Look similar to the ones shown in OP.

Much like the uber sized Miele 4XXX sets Bosch made a big deal about the Nexxt series, only to withdraw them from market in a few years.

IIRC the washers were prone to rear bearing failures after a few years along with other problems. IMHO it came down to Bosch rushing to offer a larger sized "European" laundry set (both W&D were built in the USA) to compete with Whirlpool's line and to capture some of the sales lost by customers put off by the traditional *small* 5kg capacity of European washers and dryers.

"what I dont get is the plinth - WITH WHEELS"

Those are moving dollies used when shifting furniture or other large objects say when moving house. The washer however seems not to have had it's shipping braces replaced before the move. Thus if I were considering would certainly want to check to make sure everything is in good order.

If Bosch/Siemans still stocks parts $350 for the W&D set could be a good deal.

The Siemens washers were stocked in Best Buy for a time. That was the only place I ever saw them for sale.

Ah, just had a closer look on a larger screen, so they came with the drawer pedestals as standard which raised the height? ,
many models sold here and have not heard of probs with the bearings here to date !

Not sure how widespread the rear bearing issue was, but it did seem to pop up often enough on Internet searches.

Was looking for something European but larger than my Miele W1070 at the time.

I remember reading in some forum that these Bosch washers did not cope at all well with suds. I hope that they were not worse than the Duet I had. That thing tripped the flood switch with clear water when it went into spin
