Wash-in HOORAY!!!
An FYI note on lodging.
Granted things have (hopefully) changed / gotten better in the last 5 1/2 years, but when I attended the October 2010 Wash-In, I stayed at the Red Roof Inn - in Laurel. They had a severe bug infestation problem. Not only were these little water bugs or mini roaches(?) all over the walkways, walls, doors on one side of the building, they were in the rooms too! Not just one or two either, there was at least a dozen. I went back to the front desk and they gave me a room on the other side of the building. It was better, but I still discovered a few "uninvited guests" in that room as well.

Laurel Hotels
WOW, Kevin, didn't know that, and thanks for letting us know. Laurel is 10 miles , more or less, north of Beltsville and another part of the universe. Motels there mostly serve the local horse track and truckers from the terminal, so prices are cheaper and you get what you pay for. Pretty sure Red Roof, College Park, is OK. Looks good, and it serves different folks, probably a little more expensive. It'll be good to see you again, we really enjoyed Long Beach and the Queen Mary.

Most of you I have never met and I've certainly never been to one of the "big ones" like this. I'm sending my registration form in as we speak and plan to be there. Thanks for the info! Many of you know my love for the GE's so can't wait to see some good ones up close and in person!

Dybnaflow Ron, Have you checked the solenoids? Mainly the one which shifts the pump lever to drain. The wires connecting them for continuity? They are tugged back and forth by the agitator shaft the wig wag is mounted onto. It could also be a bad timer cam switch. | ||

 I would love to come out East for this year's wash-in but it's not feasible this time around. I started a new job 8/1 as a customer service rep for Lincoln Windows in Merrill, WI. This company is very hard to get into and I'm very fortunate to have gotten hired. Don't want to screw this up in any way! Hopefully in the future though. I'll be thinking of y'all though. I’m sorry to say that Charles and I won’t be able to make it. We had to take some more time off to help my brother. We got the phone call last week that he has advanced cancer. The doctors are going to try a surgery on him in the next few days to see if they can open up his throat so he can eat again. John I hope everything goes as planned.
