Now Laundress------

Don't get your feathers in a ruffle. Just "pullin your chain". Actually, I've become so accustomed to letting you find those E-Bay treasures---I rarely bother to surf E-Bay anymore!

OMG!

He wants a pretty penny for those. That's $1500 more than my Oasis set, but it's the real thing.

It remains to be seen just how much they will fetch-----but where else could you find such a gorgeous pair?-----And we KNOW how they have been cared for!

Fabulous!

Yes, I'm making room in the house so we can actually walk around in the basement again!

Don't be put off by the Buy-It-Now price, it is really for Steve (gyrafoam), that was his guess as to what they would bring, the reserve price is WAY less so we'll see who comes closer...

Greg,

What was your reasoning for offering this pair? I would think that you would have put your nemesis Multimatic pair up first...

Consider shipping to be almost another $1000 to the price tag.

Someone will want it bad enough.

Saw the listing while trawling eBay, but as it was a member's auction decided not to get involved. Again don't post every thing I see during my travels.

i would love to have these.I just do not have any place to have them at the moment. They would make a nice start to my colection. the best part of these is that i know that Greg took care of them.-----btw, Greg, is this the washer that I saw on HGTV in action?

Ritchie - these were seen on the HGTV show, but the machine they showed running was the 1955 Frigidaire that now lives with Rich (golittlesport) in California.

Peter- I have a joined a 12-step proram for appliance collectors! Our chapter has three charter members so far, there's always room for you too ;-) I just have too many appliances that I do not have room for and the things that are coming in will need their spaces too! I love this Frigidaire set, one of my favorite designs, but I have to make some tough choices so here we are...

I should probably join that...I have the "I'm out of room that I still think I have" problem!

Very nice set; I really hope it does go for the BIN price!

I wish Seattle and Omaha were closer. I would be the owner. Oh well. Hope this lovely couple finds a good home.

Well if I remeber about 1.5 years or so ago, christfr sold those Rollermatics for around 3 thousand or so. These are certainly are worth thier weight in GOLD.

Good luck Greg. BTW, I am helping the 12 step program and will take delivery on the Rollermatic next weekend.

Greg donated a 1968 rapid dry to my collection. I wanted one so bad and Steve (Gyrafoam) had gone to see Greg and he brought it to Atlanta for me to have. I will pick it up this weekend as we are going to see Steve. I am excited.

Well 10 hours left on this one. Tonight we shall see if someone takes (buys) a prize like this.
