Outside of the Amish community, specific collectors and a few others the market for conventional (wringer) washers is very small. Even including the above you are still speaking of a *VERY* tiny market.
There are scores of wringer washers out there ranging in various condition being offered with nil to no interest. Units that are NIB or nearly so like the Maytag a member scored awhile back are a different story. Even then you are talking about perhaps only a few hundred. Speed Queen was the second largest seller of wringer washers which accounts for so many lying around spare/on offer for sale. Shouldn't figure value being more than $100 and even then that is generous. We're talking about someone locally who really wants the machine. |
