G'day first post.

I joined up today to find out if there is anyone in Australia with an agitator out of an old Simpson pope wringer washing machine. It's model # is 11-024-0 and I'm very sure it's from the 50's.I bought it today for $50 and it works well but the agitator had been broken/cracked and repaired by gluing but came unstuck after working it in water.

Thanks for any help...Glenn.

Hi Glenn

If you're able to post a pic of the agitator out of the machine, it would certainly help. I may have a spare that might suit.

Cheers
Leon

Sorry about the 3 separate posts...can't edit my own stuff.Anyhow I guess in the last pic of the inside I have to work out how to get a socket onto that silver nut in the middle to undo the agitator from the shaft, not easy as you can see it's a tad worn LOL.I sure as hell don't understand this 1 post per 1/2 hr rule for newbies...dose that change down the line.?
