If you are referring to the access door, not necessarily. If it were Maytag, yes, But Westinghouse had that access door and both gas & 220V models. I have a newer version of the same dryer in 220V and it has that access door (photo 3).

yeah, that access door was not only for a gas model, but in either model, it allowed you to reach through to secure the bolts in the front if stacking this set....

unique just the same......love the description on the panel.."new generation washer"

I think I have the complete timer for that dryer...  

 

The dishwasher looks like a builder's model GE.  I see two cycle selections though - would it have had a Normal Wash and Rinse and Hold?  That 'sound insulated' label is a bit deceptive - I'm guessing even with it, this was a LOUD model.... LOL
