Kenny - I totally agree.  The paint job is very similar to the avocado 'update' on my '55 Frigidaire.  I wonder if the GM dealers were supplied with kits to spruce up older fridges to the current trends in the 70's.

 

If this fridge was white I suspect it would be getting a lot more attention.  I haven't seen one pop up before...

I've been hunting a '57/'58 forever (even though I hate pink interiors in fridges). This green resprayed one would be so easy to put back right. Preferably charcoal or satiny black :D
