There's one out there for you, and for the right price.
You might post a message here.. Maybe in shoppers square.. Maybe someone here has one their willing to let go to a good home. Don't know if you've use or worked on a wringer or not, but they are usually pretty bullet proof. However there some things to watch for.. First make sure that the agitator comes off (as it's supposed to) take a good look at the tub, checking for holes. Fill it if you can, and see if it holds water. If not then there's a good chance water has gotten into the power unit (gear box) this can be fixed but it's a lot of time trouble, sometimes $ If that checks out plug in, see if electric moror runs, and check operation of wringer. Make sure it rolls in both directions, and that the plate under the wringer moves in both directions to divert water to run in either direction. Next make sure wringer locks in all positions, and that the tension on the rollers locks down, and releases. Look for excessive grease on rear leg of machine, or weeping of grease from the weep hole on cross bar. Also wheels should turn, and one wheel should have a break on it Paint is just cosmetic on the outside, not a big deal. Hope I remembered everything ! We're here to help, so let us know if you have questions are need part ect Stan |
