Just like the first vac my mother had. I had to take that cloth bag outside, shake it out and cough and sneeze. The new one after that one, with a Powermate was much better on cleaning rugs and it is my basement vac now still working just fine, green Powermate and all.

That design looks like it would take off...loved the old designs inspired by flight and rockets...

Speaking of ...did anyone see this rocket sculpture on Pier 14 in San Francisco,
back in 2010(www.atlasobscura.com/places/raygu...)

or in Calgary in 2013? www.raygungothicrocket.com/blog/2...


(not to start a discussion on rocketships or rocketship sculpture, but that vacuum design has classic rocketship lines).

I beleive the collectors on the Vacuum Forums called this type of machine the "Oxygen Tank" vacuum!
