for $275 ? it is on CL... I asked if the top lifted up to clean under the burners... He did not respond to that question in his ad..... this unit is electric...
on here it says Cornado was sold by Western Auto stores
Since i didnt get that 30 inch Flair, then I want double ovens the 30inch over and under ovens. Years ago I had a Caloric over and under unit.. it was great.. it was gas
Opinionsabout this unit....
course my dream unit would be a smooth top non digital unit with prob over and under oven.. stainless steel and second choice white
of course I got to have a working long blasting clock timer.. LOL I use my timers over and over for cooking and other chores.
I did find a NON DIGITal smooth top stove but its black glass
thoughts all?

thank yall

Sounds expensive, but can't say for sure without a picture.

For the condition it's in, it's worth every bit of the asking price, but you could probably bargain with the seller if you wanted to.  I'd let him keep the cookware in the upper oven, though . . .

It's also an unusual stove.  That doesn't mean parts couldn't be found if necessary.  Some big name manufacturer produced it for Western Auto.  And who could resist having a Countess in their kitchen?

Looks decent, and HEAVY! Offer $200.00, those are hard to sell to the general public.

Coronado Electric Range

It Is In Great Shape, BUT unless you live in the town where these were built or your Father worked at the factory and you are sentimental about this range, RUN away, it is not even worth the gas money to pick it up, assuming you actually want something that you can cook on.

ANYTHING else would be better than this range, I am sure if you go and really look at it you can see how inferior this range compared to any vintage, Frigidaire, Hotpoint, GE, Westinghouse and even ANYTHING new today would be better quality and work better to boot.

You asked and I am telling from my experience of working on junk like this, I always think it is a shame when someone takes such good care of a POS like this and then a good GE gets trashed, of course it is more likely that someone didn't even want to use this POS in the first place and that is why it is in such good shape today, LOL.

I guess looks can be deceiving.  I stand corrected!
