My friend's mom bought this model in 1973. She referred to it as the "new" washer until the day she died. Kelly |

This was the wwasher my high school best friend's mom got replacing her 1960 alphabet kenmore Dick in Palm Springs has. I believe this was purchased fall of 1973, shortly before I came home for homecoming. I remember how much qieter this was than our Kenmore 800. Pretty much all the same features too. This exact set was what went into the new neighbor house at our lake house.

I could be dreaming, but I was sure the washer in turquoise, in the Birdcage was a whirlpool. Kelly |

Fact: 1967 was the last [production/model] year for Turquoise in the Kenmore line. |

Those are the 73 models equivalent to the 800. Do these still do fill/agitation in permanent press? |
