Hi! John, great Kenmore Set, similar to ones I had quite some time ago, but mine were Avocado Color.

"BTW" you might try to use something like Turtle Polishing Compound with Oxidation Remover on the inside part of the Lid, where the Blue Background and Operating Instructions are. It should take most or all of the Oxidation off of the Lid's Blue area.

I don't remember for sure what happened to my Set, but they were great Machines. I had an Electric Dryer, up until quite some time later, when I first started working on Gas Dryers and adding Gas Lines, so I could operate both Electric and Gas Dryers, at the same time.
