Gotta love 1980's solid state electronics....I wish these machines had a graphic equalizer (for no particular reason)

A MBM model.  They created cycles just so they could have all the buttons.  But lets face it, a dryer could easily get by with 3 electronic buttons.

I remeber these

as Mark IV Imperial models. But too bad no fluorescent lights.

When I bought my first new w/d set it was a toss up between this set or the Kenmore alternative.  I went for the Kenmore because it had more features and of course had the lighted panels.  They are still running!  I sold them to a friend when the Whirlpool Duets / He3T's came out and bought a pair.

This is a direct-drive machine.  I believe Allen/Whirlcool has the same pair.

Yes, it is direct-drive from around 1989.
