hi everybody. I just put a new spinner gasket( a newer one from a parts 515) in my favorite hoover 510. I cant find a belt for the spinner. I thought that the belt from the 515 spinner would work, but the 515 belt is much shorter and would not work. does anyone have a spinner belt they would part with? it is a thin v belt about 24in. I am also still looking for a hoover 512 twintub. I have a easy spindrier from 1958 that is in good condition I would trade if anyone is interested, call me. my# is 607-510-4100 thanks Bill

But long as have the machine am not willing to part with hard to find spares. Where would I find another? And you just know not long after that belt is sold the one on mine would die an untimely death. *LOL*

Check eBay

Just be sure to widen the search to include "Worldwide". There are usually a few places in OZ that are selling spinner belts for Hoover TT's. In fact the land Down Under seems to be a decent source of Hoover TT parts, though not always what one wants when needed.

would someone please help me!!!

I have mentioned before my hoover 510, however I never really stated how it became my spuce goose. yes I love this machine and I have put a great deal of sweat and blood into it. I figuratively rebuilt a pump from a parts 515, reworked the drain hose so it wrks the way it was designed and then to my surprise it was working great!!! until the spinner belt broke. I thought the spinner belt from the old 515 I have would wrk,but it is much shorter than the belt on the 510. the ejames co. was completely worthless. I got a tedious lecture from the man I spoke to about production demand ect. I wanted to scream but I kept cool. I have heard from someone on our club that there is a co. that makes custom belts. can anyone tell me where to look or call. I would really appreciate it. I miss using my 510 and I have put a lot of sweat and blood into it. thanks Bill

Multi listing site

V Belts & Belting Suppliers on ThomasNet.com. Many companies that carry all sorts of belts. And some that can custom make belts.
Beating the bushes and thinking outside the box sometimes is the only way to get parts.

It took 4 months of daily searching to find an operational transmission for my wringer.
I emailed any seller that had wringer parts for sale.
