Hi Rob
You could consider replacing it with this 4-way solenoid for a fagor machine. It should work as the solenoids are mains operated - might be more of a struggle to find an old one of the type you have. S CLICK HERE TO GO TO Sesteve's LINK on eBay

Thanks for the suggestion Steve but I am unsure that the Fagor valve would physically fit - space is a bit tight :( |

TriumphToledo,
Bugger! If Only I'd Known Sooner!!! I bought a Bosch V695 for a family member at the end of last year, but after getting a plug attached, as the muppet selling it cut the original off, I gave it a test, but it was so abrupt & noisy that I scrapped it, as I didn't really have room to store it either. It weighed a ton too, took me an hour to drag it round from one side of Grandma's conservatory to the main garden shed. To make matters worse, I managed to snap the door release handle off. If I'd known which part was needed at the time, I'd've happily salvaged it before it went off with the scrappers. I've attached a link for the Siemens Siwamat version that is identical to the V695 I had. CLICK HERE TO GO TO HooverZanMiele's LINK |

TriumphToledo,
I've recovered a photo of the V695 I had briefly.

As subject! Are any Dutch guys reading this? Unless anyone knows if the valve coils and valve assembly can be bought separately as they are screwed in to the main body as per the pics? |

Hi again, Am considering this machines future. Is anyone interested in taking this machine on? Or else know from where I can obtain a cost effective solenoid? R |

Hello Rob
Will a 4 way valve (Think it was a Fagor valve...) not fit in? If it will, then to get around the modern connector issue I could give you 4X sets of wires from some scrap machines with the correct connectors on, and you put spades on the other end of them which go to the timer...if that makes any sense? Cheers for the offer Chris but, looking at the pics above, I do not think that the Fagor valve will fit. Would anyone be interested in taking the machine on as I may have another, ahem, project arriving soon... |
