So I just got called over to my elderly (in there late 80s) house and they have the original 1982 kitchen still (wci frigidaire fridge, stove and dishwasher with a GE dial space saver microwave) and the dishwasher (which is hardly used, Gretta said whenever the kids come for a holiday) has decided to run non stop... Opening the door doesn't even cut it off.... She said she ran it last night after memorial day supper and it ran ok, but around 12 today she heard it goin and its been goin for 6 hours, through the whole cycle...

We got power cut and the water off..... SO its shut down..

She wants to fix it if she can, but I think its a lost cause.. Its 2 cycles, with air dry..I saw the repair manual on here, I will download it if i need too

Im guessing a bad timer, and im sure i could rebuild it, but still.. I could get her a nice whirpool from yesteryear in black and almond and she'd be ok
