Is it able to be put on the rear like a normal dryer,just wondering... Or is that a

Cooper,  back in the day some mfr. gave you the option of  right, left, bottom, or back venting.  The white circular plug hopefully is in the hole on the back.   I think you take off the back panel and turn the vent the way you want it.  No doubt a collection of screw drivers will help out before you start.

Some installations required the side vent. There is an elbow behind the back panel, that can be turned.

Wish I could find me a gas HOH dryer if for no other reason than I've always wanted one.  I'd do the electronic ignition conversion though.

I still can't be sure it's an 806 either.  The panel doesn't reflect light the way glass would.

 

Either way, it's basically the same as the DG806 we had.  I loved the electronic control, and it dried everything perfectly.  Without a doubt, absolutely no contest, it was the best, most user-friendly, efficient and quietest dryer we've ever owned.
