There's one in my early 90s catalog with a stainless steel top. I hear these were made by Roper. I didn't know there were solid burner ones, the one I saw were coil elements. |

These were available with many different element choices and you could use a dual grill or dual griddles. The down draft intake on both sides and the recessed top really helped the ventilation system, unfortunately the overall range was a ROPER, probably if you got just the DD cook-top it would not have been as bad. |
