.
I was wondering, has a manufacturer ever depicted in it's sales literature an appliance model that they never actually released in the color depicted? I don't mean a somewhat different shade, but rather a completely different hue. Today's POD (6/03/16)...there were Whirlpool's just like that? Come to think of it i seem to recall a Kenmore set nearly that color, nevertheless the question stands. Are there ads out there of appliances that in actuality were never available as depicted?

The printer of this original ad apparently did not do the right mix of cyan, magenta, yellow and black to make the full printed spectrum to look right. The first run off a printing press usually always went in the trash until it looked what the boss said thats ok, crank it up to speed and get these things out of here and then we can go home.
