 That interior does not belong to the portable Penncrest. It's clearly a KA machine built into a different kitchen. Penncrest major appliances were usually rebadged GE's or Hotpoints, and that's what this one looks like.
I wonder why so many exterior and "money" shots on CL belong to two different machines. | ||

GE That's a Mobile Maid, every inch of it. You can even see the little circle in the lid where the Power Shower would have gone had this been a TOL. The silverware basket looks a little different but that could have been added later. I'd guess it's circa 1962 when they discontinued the Petal Pink Plastisol and went to blue. | ||

 Ah, the glory days of JC Penney shopping. I remember appliances at Penney's, but much later into the 70's. I've seen so very few JCP appliances in the wild that it hardly seems like they sold them at all.
