Hello everyone,
I wanted to share some before and after pictures with you of my remolded laundry room. It was a LOT of work to get it to this point, and I am really happy with the new space. I prepped (scraped, sanded, and primed) and painted all the walls. One wall was replaced, and I got new floor. The rugs are new, too. I just got my new "used" GE front loader/dryer, which I am really happy with so far. I am having so much fun enjoying this new space. I hope you enjoy seeing it, too.

Your new laundry room looks great! Glad you like your front-load washer. I'm a big fan of HE frontloaders.

Form

follows function, or function follows form. Kitty seems to like it.

Thank you everyone for your kind words! I am having so much fun doing laundry in this space now. In fact, I even bought the Launderess Signature detergent! : ) It's really nice not to hear the banging of my old Whirlpool anymore and be in an uninviting, depressing space like before. Originally, I had plumbing going around the walls to where there was a pump toilet and a sink vanity. The water would flow from the washing machine around the pipes up through the sink when I had those still in the room! It was nightmare when I forgot to turn the machine off when it was draining because the sink overflowed creating a lake in the laundry room! It's been a long haul, but my laundry room finally came to fruition!
