Just the thing for summer afternoons in the back yard. Bring a cooler of your favourite beverages, some snacks and sunblock....

Love those little sets... I've got two of the early color Trinitrons.

Wonder if you could hook-up a digital decoder box

Then you could watch MeTV and the rest of broadcasts.

"Tummy TV's"You lay down put the TV on your stomach and watch.Yes,could be used with a digital adaptor.Get used to letterbox bars-new shows are shot 16X9 widescreen-not 4X3 as on old TV's.

Awesome!

What a great t.v.!!! Got to love the vertical and horizontal knobs. Those were the days.

Happily for me nearly 90% of my television viewing is vintage programming. Thanks to MeTv, AntennaTV, Movies! and the other OTA broadcasting stations showing such programming have been in heaven for a few years now. My old standby PBS rarely sees action these days.

Vintage t.v.

is the best! MeTV is tv magic. Original Star Trek, All in the family, Mission Impossible, Emergency,
and many more. Like those mini Sony's. Here's a pic of a RadioShack 5' Portavision.

I have an old battery tv BUT you need power to run the digital converter box in today's world that has to be hooked up to the tv. As all my locals are digital now and analog is gone and with no power, no satellite, so no tv.

I'm hooked. Perry Mason 9-10, Emergency 4-5, and Mama's Family 6-6:30. Best TV out there right now.

These comments about watching and enjoying classic television are music to my ears. When friends ask me "didn't you see last night's episode of " Dancing With the Stars" I tell them "of course not..."Gilligan's Island is on at the same time". It gives them something to talk about when I'm not around (aka old-lady gossip).

I  prefer to watch "real" stars...

Don't watch commercial, sat,or cable TV-just a garbage pit at this point. My TV just has a DVD player and an old VCR hooked to it.And my TV is an older Hitachi RPTV that has CRT's still works well, now about 15 yrs old!Going to run it until it dies.Than I will look at new TV sets.Another thing I hate most about commercial TV-the dammned drug ads-I don't want to feel sick after watching TV!
