Two solenoids in a bracket affixed to the shaft of a gear that sticks up out of the top of the transmission, and oscillates whenever the motor is running. In this view, the right solenoid controls spin, the left agitate/drain. If there is agitation but no spin, the spin solenoid may be bad. Or, the pin in the plunger guide may be broken, in which case the solenoid will energize but the cam bar won't shift to engage spin. |
